Dispatch from the Trail
I'm Running
I’m running for Congress.
Not because I’ve always dreamed of being in politics — but because I believe we need people in Washington who’ve actually built something. Who’ve led teams. Hired people. Faced hard choices. Stuck to their values — even when it wasn’t easy.
I’ve tried to live that way:
By helping small businesses grow around their core values.
By hiring people for their character — especially those who’ve overcome hardship, like I did.
By founding a synagogue for people who found faith later in life, like me.
And by walking away from power when it meant compromising what mattered.
Now I’m stepping up because I believe Chicago — and this country — need more of that. More backbone. More decency. More people who care about getting things done, not just making noise.
I’d love for you to be part of this journey with me!
